TSS contracts two scrap tire collectors to service the scrap tire collection needs of all retailers in the province. Collectors are selected through a public request for proposal (RFP) process, administered by Sask Builds procurement, based on the quality of the proposal, meeting certain predetermined requirements, and a competitive price. The collector assigned to a retailer is based on the geographic collection zone in which the retailer resides. Retailers are encouraged to contact the Tire Stewardship office to discuss collection needs/issues.
