Retailers
Our network of more than 1,400 registered tire and equipment retailers are the foundation of Saskatchewan's tire recycling program. By participating in the TSS program, retailers help ensure scrap tires are collected, managed, and recycled responsibly across the province. See the full list of retailers here –2026 Active Retailers
If your business sells new tires or sells or leases vehicles or equipment with new tires, you are required to register with TSS. To get started, complete the registration application here New Retailer Package and submit it to contactus@tssk.ca.
Processors
Saskatchewan benefits from having local tire processing capacity that supports the province's recycling efforts and helps create valuable end-use products from scrap tires.
Crumb Rubber Manufacturers (CRM), located in Moose Jaw, processes Saskatchewan's scrap tires into tire derived aggregate (TDA), and crumb rubber used in rubber-modified asphalt, synthetic turf fields, and molded rubber products across North America.
TSS is also expanding its processing network with Emterra Group, our second processor, which will operate a new processing facility in the Saskatoon area. Expected to be operational by December 2026, this facility will strengthen Saskatchewan's recycling infrastructure, increase processing capacity, and support the continued growth of Saskatchewan’s Tire Stewardship Program.
Haulers
Our contracted haulers are an essential part of Saskatchewan’s tire recycling operation. Together they collect and move more than 22,000 tonnes of scrap tires every year.
TSS currently works with two contracted haulers, Midnight Cowboy Trucking, and TW Trucking, who provide collection services across the province. Retailers are assigned a hauler based on their designated collection zone, with Midnight Cowboy Trucking servicing five zones, and TW servicing one. Retailers with collection questions or service needs are encouraged to contact the TSS office for assistance.
Saskatchewan Auto Recyclers Association - SARA
TSS is proud to partner with the Saskatchewan Auto Recyclers Association (SARA) to help ensure scrap tires generated through vehicle dismantling and recycling operations are managed responsibly. Through this partnership, Saskatchewan auto recyclers contribute to a more sustainable and efficient tire recycling system while supporting environmental stewardship across the province.
If you are an auto recycler interested in learning more about SARA, becoming a member, or joining a network of industry professionals committed to responsible recycling practices, we encourage you to visit the Saskatchewan Auto Recyclers Association website for more information.
Canada's Professional Automotive Recyclers
Today's professional automotive recycler is far more than a vehicle dismantler.
SARA members invest in modern facilities, highly trained staff, advanced inventory management systems, environmental protection measures, and safe vehicle processing procedures. They recover quality recycled automotive parts that provide affordable, sustainable alternatives for consumers, repair facilities, insurers, and fleets across Canada.
Professional automotive recyclers play a critical role in reducing waste, conserving natural resources, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and extending the life of valuable automotive components.
